The latter portion of Revelation 13 speaks of the greatest inquisition that will have ever been conducted on the face of this earth by man. Every person's position is to be ascertained. And every person will be forced to choose between God or man. To take the mark of the beast or the seal of God. Those who refuse the mark of the beast will not be able to buy or sell, and eventually they will be under a death decree.
Ecclesiastes 1:9 tells us that history repeats itself. Even a casual glance at the scenes of the past--the Papal inquisition during the dark ages, Hitler's holocost, and the internment of Japanese-Americans during WWII to name a few--is sufficient to drive the point home to anyone that before any inquisition can be conducted, information must be gathered from the populace at large. The articles below relate to that topic.
