Revelation speaks of the last day events including a woman sitting upon a scarlet colored beast (Rev. 17:3). Using the Bible to interpret itself, we find that in symbolic prophecy a woman represents a church (Jer. 6:2) and a beast represents a kingdom or some form of state (Dan. 7:17,23). So what would a woman sitting upon a beast represent? Obviously a church controlling a state. Looking further on in Revelation 17, we see that this "woman" is one of the Devil's major instruments of the last days. This is not a pretty picture. But it is what God's word has told us will take place. Brothers and sisters...here it comes.
